Euro-zone annual inflation fell from 2.3% in August to 2.1% in September 2004, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, reports today. A year earlier the rate was 2.2%. Monthly inflation was 0.2% in September 2004.

EU25 annual inflation was 2.1% in September 2004, down from 2.3% in August. A year earlier the rate was 2.0%. Monthly inflation was 0.2% in September 2004.

EICP annual inflation was 2.0% in September 2004.
